It has been a year without any updates, and the Keen Software House has thrust the sandbox engineering sim “Medieval Engineers” out of the Steam Early Access. Fans aren’t that much impressed at this step, and the latest reviews are combined as devastating. Based on the stats of the Steam, only 19% among the 199 reviews are positive which are left in the last 30 days.
A blog post has been posted on 17th March by the Keen Software House, and in that post, they explain the reason behind the jedgment of the group to leave Early Access.
Keen Software House, possibly has made a decision to restructure the entire group and concentrate on moving the previous game. The previous game was Space Engineers which is currently out of the Early Access. “Space Engineers” is looking forward to prioritizing the Xbox One port of the Space Engineer as well as pool all of the resources to the upgrades and support for the game. Keen Software House gave a statement which stated that with the delivery of the game on 17th March, the company decreased the price abruptly to $9.99, and over the upcoming weeks, every person who owns the original version of “Medieval Engineers” is going to get the Deluxe version as well, and this one will be completely free.
Addressing a few problematic bugs in the game, there is still another update to arrive to take the game in more playable state. The new release of the game will fix the problem, and a lot of crashes during the game during the gameplay will also be solved. It doesn’t matter to the fans that what the Keen Software House is doing. The fans are upset about the decision to ditch the Medival Engineers.
However, Keen Software House is regarding this Medieval Engineers as an end product.
