Gold bug Peter Schiff lost all his bitcoins, says that owning them was a ‘bad idea’

There are a lot of people out there in the industry who either love Bitcoins or hate them to the core. One of the Bitcoin sceptics named Gold bug Peter Schiff is also one of them. Now, it has been revealed by Peter himself that he has lost access to all his Bitcoins thanks to losing access to his wallet. Also, he says that he has not forgotten his password but his password is no longer valid. Adding to this, Peter Schiff reveals that his BTC is now worthless and has no market value left anymore.

Getting more details about this matter via CoinTelegraph, we have known that the crypto community has jumped right into this matter providing help to Peter Schiff regarding his issue. However, the weird thing is that Peter says that he did not forget his password but that “My wallet forgot my password”. One industry veteran named Pompliano said that “The software just executes the commands that humans give it. It can’t ‘forget’ anything. Email me and I’ll try to help you recover the lost Bitcoin.”

This is exactly understandable and it seems like Peter might have never remembered his password in the first place. He would have just relied on his wallet letting him via saved passwords feature. Schiff said that “Eric Voorhees set up the wallet for me and even he thinks there is nothing I can do. But you’re welcome to try if you have any ideas.”

Also, Schiff is known to be a crypto critic and this just seems like a stunt to de-value the BTC in general as he reportedly even said that the price of BTC would fall to $1000 just to “complete the pattern” of ever falling bitcoin prices. Since his Bitcoins are now lost, he even says that he knew that owning them was a “bad idea”.
