One of the most anticipated smartphones of this year is the budget-friendly but powerful iPhone from Apple which will be named as iPhone SE 2. We know that the iPhone SE was launched by Apple after the iPhone 5 series which got a good response as well. Now, we are going to see history repeat itself with the iPhone SE 2 as Apple is going to refresh its iPhone 8 series and bring its successor which will be named as the iPhone 9. Now, we are not sure if Apple will call the iPhone SE 2 as iPhone 9 or not but we are sure that it will come with iPhone 8 chassis.
So you can understand that the device will have normal-sized bezels which really do look ugly in 2020. However, we know that Apple’s devices sell based on their software experience more so than their hardware experience which shows that not a lot of people care about using outdated hardware. We now get to see the leaked renders of iPhone SE 2 which show us that the device will also only have a single rear camera which is said to be same as the iPhone Xr in terms of quality.
Also said is that the processor inside iPhone SE 2 will be top-of-the-line A13 Bionic chip which was seen on iPhone 11 series. This means that while you get performance similar to this year’s iPhones, you have to compromise on looks and features. However, the price rumoured for the iPhone SE 2 is just $400 which is a great price if you want to get into the Apple ecosystem without spending big on the costlier iPhones. Having said that, we still feel that Apple should have reduced bezels on the device which might have increased the sales of this device but as a previous report mentioned, this is just a recycled iPhone 8 so we shouldn’t expect much.
